Homer's going to the Hall! The 25th anniversary of one of the greatest episodes of The Simpsons is coming up in May and baseball is going to honor the occasion. "Homer At The Bat" turns 25 in May and at the Hall of Fame Classic Weekend, they'll unveil a special memorial to live forever at Cooperstown.
Jeff Idelson, president of the MLB HOF, said, "In Cooperstown, we salute baseball's greatest contributors, preserve its vast history and salute the cultural side of the sport. We are honored to pay tribute to the 25th anniversary of 'Homer at the Bat.'"
