Twenty One Pilots Reveal Hardest Part Of Their Job In 'Shy Away' BTS Video

Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun surprised us all when they dropped the music video for twenty one pilots' new song "Shy Away" last week. Now, the guys are taking The Clique behind the scenes of the video shoot with some new footage.

In the black and white video, which dropped Tuesday (April 13), the band not only showed us how the vision for the video became reality but they also spent a couple minutes chatting to the camera.

About halfway through the behind the scenes video, Joseph and Dun discussed what the hardest part of their job was.

“I think we've said it before, but some people probably feel like our job's pretty easy but it's really hard,” Dun said while Joseph quipped “feel bad for us!”

“This is easily the hardest part of what we do I think… physically,” Joseph said about shooting music videos while his bandmate agreed and added, “We probably end up playing more songs throughout the course of the day during a music video than during a show.”

“But hey, we're rockstars! That's all that really matters,” Dun joked.

Fans also get a look at Joseph putting on his best Dave Grohl impression with a short cover of Foo Fighters' "My Hero" around the 3:50 mark.

After twenty one pilots revealed the artwork for their new album, Scaled And Icy, the artist for the album revealed the dragon image came from an old — and terrifying — children's book.

Scaled And Icy is out May 21. Watch the video for the first single below.
