The 1975's Matty Healy Teases Charli XCX Collaboration

Matty Healy is plenty busy with his band The 1975, touring the world and prepping their fourth album, but that's not stopping him from collaborating with other artists. On Saturday (August 10), the frontman took to Twitter to praise Charli XCX and reveal that they're working on a song together.

"Charlie XCX is a f**king force. She wrote Pop 2 IN A WEEK and when she told me that I was a bit like ‘....erm yeah cool sure,’" he wrote in a series of tweets. "Sent her a beat at like 5pm yesterday and woke up this morning to a HIT," Healy wrote. "A MONSTER TUNE!! I'm prolific but she's on some s**t," he continued. After realizing he had misspelled her name he quickly fixed his mistake. "CHARLI!!," he corrected himself. ""CHARLI !!! WITH NO 'E' B**CH"

After a fan replied asking if the full band would be involved in the project, he said "Not sure yet but me and Rome and George produced," referring to labelmate No Rome and The 1975 drummer George Daniel.

Though The 1975 haven't revealed many details about their upcoming album Notes On a Conditional Form, they did share its opening track last month.
