Bastille Give Spirited Performance Of 'Joy' On 'The Graham Norton Show'

With the release of Bastille's third album, Doom Days, only a few short days away, the band visited The Graham Norton Show to perform its the uplifting, "Joy." Backed by a group of powerful vocalists, Dan Smith gave a spirited performance of the uplifting new tune, nailing all the high notes as he asks "How'd you always know when I'm down?" during the chorus.

Doom Days is slated for a June 14 release and also features the already released lead single "Quarter Past Midnight," introspective "Those Nights," and the album's paranoid title track. Watch Bastille perform "Joy" for the Graham Norton audience below.

"It feels kinda mad to say that we've got a third album," Smith told iHeartRadio last summer. "I didn't know that we'd still be a band, or that I'd still be alive by this point, so things seem to be going better than expected. We're just trying to capture that feeling of wanting to throw yourself into the night, and that sort of hunt for escapism."

Bastille will be celebrating the release of Doom Days with a special album release party hosted by iHeartRadio on June 17. Find out how you can livestream the event here.
