Weezer Channels Mister Rogers In 'High As A Kite' Video

As the release date of The Black Album looms closer, Weezer has gifted us with not one, but two new songs.

The first, "High as a Kite," sees Rivers Cuomo channeling his inner Mister Rogers, as he hosts a show called "Mister Rivers' Neighborhood," red cardigan and all. He and the rest of the band, dressed in various costumes from chef to police officer, play an uplifting, folky song to the audience, made up mostly of kids, but then things take a dark turn as the track shifts from soft to hard.

Watch the "High as a Kite" video below.

Weezer also released "Living in LA" on Thursday (February 21). That song is a little more electro-forward, gritty song as Cuomo laments "But I feel so lonely, feel so lonely/ Yeah I’m living in LA."

Listen to "Living in LA" below, and watch out for The Black Album on March 1.

Weezer's cover of "Africa" is up for an iHeartRadio Music Award this year for "Best Alternative Song of the Year." Find out who will be taking home an award this year by tuning into FOX on March 14th where the show will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles from 8-10pm ET/PT.
