Greta Van Fleet Bring The Gold Sequin To 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival

Ahead of the release of their debut album, Anthem of the Peaceful Army, Greta Van Fleet brought their new tunes to the Daytime Stage at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival on Saturday afternoon (September 22), offering the audience with eye-popping gold sequin and enough feisty energy to match.

For the 20-minute number, which was introduced by "The Woody Show" from ALT 98.7, lead singer Josh Kiszka, guitarist Jake Kiszka, bassist Sam Kiszka, and drummer Danny Wagner kicked off the set with their debut single, "Highway Tune," a high-energy number that has been particularly compared to Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant. With all eyes in the 98-degree grounds on Josh and his all-gold look with appropriately matching exposed mid-riff and feather earrings, the rocker ventured through the mini-setlist of tracks like "When the Curtain Falls," and "Black Smoke Rising."

As one of the few rock acts on the lineup, the four-member band brought high octave belts and ferocious guitar shredding to the stage, fulfilling the appetites needing some new age rock n' roll. As for their last cut, the band decided on going with "Safari Song," an ode to a woman who delivers an abundance of good loving, before saying farewell to the crowd.

Stay tuned for even more from the Daytime Stage at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival, which is set to include more show-stopping performances from Logic, Dua Lipa, 5 Seconds of Summer and more.
